The new macs breakfast is not really that great. I mean it is if you're in to soggy bread and all...yumm yumm huh??

Two Kinds

There are well... two kinds of people in the world. The givers and the takers. Now whether there are the in betweens, that's for you to decide.

I have someone in my life who is a taker. Take and take and take. And there are 2 someones in my life that give. Give and give and give. I can't take it. (No pun intended)

So can we guess who it is already?

Just to ask for a little money, and there's a big issue. But for the taker to ask for something expensive is an even larger issue to those looking from the outside (me). And the giver.. well they do what they do.. GIVE. It's strange how people work. Its irritating and I let them know it. We all give as much as we can but once takers know they can take from you, they'll TAKE! *sigh*

Movie: Forbidden Kingdom

A nice and funny story I must say. Had me laughing sometimes. The story line was good and the idea of having an American boy in the old Chinese setting was genius! (My personal feelings)

The story line was good and the ending a bit predictable.

It shows how the drunken immortal becomes the drunken immortal. In the show also has the very famous "Monkey God" played by Jet Li.

Forbidden Kingdom is a show centered around the boy who needs to return a magical staff to the monkey god so that the world can rid itself of the villain in the movie. DUH! Traveling, he learns Kung Fu taught by Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Good Stuff. A must watch! =)

Also watch for the movie "Wally". Its about a robot. That will be extremely funny.

Thai Food

I love tom yum!!! Talk about food, MAN! They should rename it Tom Yummy! If I ever open a restaurant, that is what I will name my Tom Yum(my) soup.

The shop we ate at is a small Thai restaurant near Tiong Bahru. I'll have to find the address another day...

Eat well!

Claudia's Birthday Family Dinner at Esmirada CHIJMES

We went to Esmirada! They had good food. I had salad and garlic bread and a bit of pasta. They had good food but a small variety. One just needs to know what to order. The service was good also except for one girl.. I'm not too sure what was going on with her...Anyway, we had some bubbly and dessert. Yummmm!!! If you can't find any starters or main course, just go to the dessert. I had a chocolate something or the other. The description: Freshly baked chocolate tart topped with vanilla ice cream and cherries! (Not exactly according to the menu) REAL CHERRIES! I've never actually had real cherries I think. They taste so much better than those stupid red ones that top ice creams elsewhere.

Sweet Day

To wake up and hear my dog barking mad was not enjoyable. Annoying in fact. I was so tired that I shouted at him from inside my room on my bed, under my covers. Then my mum came in.. She just finished the night shift and was 100 times more tired that I was. What did she say to me? She said that the new T.V is here.

How cool is that?! We now have an LCD T.V hooked up to our wall. Exciting. Its huge! What can I say right?

Then I call Daryl when I woke up. He wanted to spend time with me today. I'm up in the clouds when he came over. He brought me flowers. ROSES! Pink and red ones. He is so sweet! Really! So we chilled out.. talked a bit then he left... He's tired but he came all the way here. In Love!

Happy Birthday Claudia

The party was great! All white. But some jokers came in black and all that. Spoilers!

I had a really great time with my best friend Althea and my boyfriend Daryl. Lots of love and laughter. Now what is left is the double date between us best friends and our boyfriends! I can't wait.

I'm tired. Wine WINE WINE! Nights!

Contender Asia!

Yodsanklai won Contender Asia. How great is that!!!!!!!!!!!!?

An awesome match between Yodsanklai and John Wayne Parr. But Yodsanklai was the composed one the in ring and made mostly all his punches count while John Wayne threw them frantically and landed maybe 2 out of 10 punches. I great match to be seen over and over again.

And it was a clean sweep for Singapore in all the matches we participated in. I was so proud of our fighters. I'm sure we'll be seeing gold medals in the next SEA games. They'll do us proud.

Application

Applying for a job is difficult. But waiting for a response from the company I think thats worse. How long do we usually have to wait to hear from them? Not too long I hope. Will we hear from them if they don't want us? just so we know and we won't wait around... rotting.

Things We Do

I'm with my boyfriend now for just about 2 years I think. I think... You see, it wasn't official. He didn't ask me, "will you be my girlfriend" or anything like that. I didn't know when it happened, was it when he sent me home almost everyday? or when he kissed me on the lips. But I know that since we've felt like we were together, our relationship was full of ups and downs. He won't admit it but I cause most of the downs in our relationship. Not that I'm proud of it or anything, its fact. We fight and we have it out. Then we learn the lessons, keep the lessons and forget the incident. I think this is important so that we don't bring up the past and hold grudges.

We compromise. I like to dance but I will follow him to bars. I still have loads of fun though sometimes he can get a little loud when he is impressed with the guitarist's skill and all that.

The loveliest thing happened today. He asked me to teach him to roller blade. I was so excited then he asked me. He wanted to do something I liked. So I taught him. He is a fast learner. It was fun. Then had a beer and went cycling. Today was a good day. Excellent.

So what I've learned so far from my relationship. Patients, to listen, be more open to ideas, forgiveness. I might have missed a few, but the most obvious ones are listed.

I'm glad we're together. I love him so much.

Wasting Life

I'm not doing anything with my life now.

It is pretty strange that before, when I was still is Secondary school and Poly, I was dying to start life, work and earn my money so I can spend it on what I want to and not just food and travel fare.

Now that I'm done with school (for now), I'm not sure that I wanna leave school yet. I don't know what I want to do and strangely, I thought I did.

Well, applying for a job is also tough. Writing a CV and cover letter is not as easy as I thought it was. There was no lessons taught on writing such things. Which is STRANGE when we need an all rounded education now so that we can get a job in the future, but we're not really taught how to properly apply for one by writing a CV and cover letters. Yes we can look them up in the internet, but they also have so many versions. How do you know which one is the right one?! Then during research, you'll find out that gee!!!! A CV for an Engineering position differs from a CV for a Managerial position. But in any case, I found a CV that is catered to what I'm doing. I wasn't too satisfied with it so I mixed 2 versions. I hope I get away with it. It looks good anyway.

Then comes the cover letter. I guess this is where a think skin would come in handy.

I can't wait to start work. I don't have to sit at home and do nothing anymore.

What a waste of life.
