Visiting

Alts and I visited CHIJ today. It was awesome! Our teachers still remembered us and so did Miss Josephine Teo (Discipline Mistress).. I wonder why. When we say her, we shouted "Miss Teo!" together! It was so funny. She then commented that we have not changed. Especially Alts. She is still loud. But I do love her for that. Yes I do. We also met up with Mr Francis Yap, Mrs Lina Siau, Mrs Jennifer Chu. It was awesome and I was very happy to see then again.

Then after we were done, we went down to United Square's Pasta Mania where we got our lunch. Believe it or not, we love the same dish, "Chicken Sausage". What are the odds?! We never had lunch together at Pasta Mania, but we love the same dish. This was meant to be. For those who didn't know, we have been friends since 11 years old. We look alike, think alike. We probably were twins in our past life.

Graduation

We're done at last. Shaking hands and making plans... Now we're thrown into the real world. How many of us will really survive? Will we stick to our plan? All plans contain parts and we cannot control. Like employment. Will the company really employ me? It will be their loss I feel if I don't get employed. But then again, wouldn't it be mine ($) as well? But of course. Then the question is: Who's the biggest loser?"

A dog eat dog world... What if I prefer to be a cat?

I went there today after applying to Universities in Australia. I had a Iced White Chocolate Mocha.. Boy was that just the greatest drink of all.. Yummy! TRY IT! (Not for those who does not like sweet drinks)

Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Very interesting show!!! Sad ending though...Unexpected... Everyone should watch... Johnny is always looking so good...

Meeting new people

I feel that everyone should be open to meeting new people. This will build networks be it overseas or local. Networks are very important as it will help bring you places and know more new people.

People skills are also important.

When talking to someone, always make them feel that they are being heard and they are the only person in the room that matters at that point in time. That is important. This is because they will then feel that sense of importance that everyone longs for which makes them feel good.

Ask about them, what they do and their goals. If the person is a good communicator and logical, then the conversation will go both ways. And everyone will have a good conversation.

Dinner and Dance

Not much dancing I must say. The dinner was great! I especially loved the fish with Laksa grave. That was like out of this world!!!! Yes! I wanted to eat 2 pieces but I could not put it away. So I had like 1 1/2 pieces. Yumm yumm.

Theme this year: Carnival of Colours

What I wore was this hot pink dress with a crazy design and a Chinese theme. I loved it and so did many other people. The design was fresh and simple, Traditional but up to date. See above!

I met many people whom I have know since I was a little girl. They commented oh how much I've grown and matured and how they could not recognize me! Always the case I guess.
