How to Eat Tarts!

Step 1: Stalk and decide which container to hit... Take your time if no one is around.. But do not get caught having 2 or more in your mouth.. It will be difficult to explain why you have 2 (or more) in your mouth! "They are too yummy" is the appropriate respond...
Step 2: Once you have decided which container to take the tart(s) from, open and select the most appetising one. This will probably be the most difficult decision to make... Hence the "2 or more tarts in your mouth" statement. As you cannot decide, you may feel the urge to gobble down more than you can handle. DO NOT do this...You WILL choke!
Step 3: (Not the best picture...) Turn the tart unside down so the pineapple jam will come in contact with the tongue (as shown in the picture).
Step 4: DO NOT chew but use the tongue to mush it around the mouth so as to fully taste the tart. When you successfully completed all the steps until here, you may start back at 2 or close the container and return another time for more.

Dad's Birthday

So today started out with a run at MacRitchie reservoir. Dad woke me up at 6.45am and we started our run at about 7.10am. Completed it at around... 8am I think because we took a detour... I was so tired...like sleepy.

We came home to a "hearty" breakfast of OJ, scrambled eggs, bacon and pork sausages. ummmmm...drool.

For dinner!! It was beef and toufu hotplate, prawns, crab, soup, fried rice and some noodles. It was good... I hope tonight my mum will make tarts... I'll help....eat them I mean.

Howl at the Moon

When first asked to "Howl at the Moon", I thought it would be just a group of friends going crazy. In actual fact, it was not just us, EVERYBODY was going nuts. It was so funny! I had an awesome time there. Can't wait to go back. I never knew there was a place like this before.

I've got 4 pairs of guess shoes and I am determined to keep them in good condition.
My first pair. They are pretty painful if I have to walk far in them. But beauty comes with a price and these are very beautiful shoes... Don't you think?
The black shoes. I call them my bondage shoes. So many straps. But they are comfortable and very beautiful! I can mix and match!


I bought these shoes because the heels are extremely unique and I have not seen heels designed like this before. And of course, the overall shoe is very beautiful.


This is probably the best and most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever put onto my feet. They are a killer pair of shoes with killer heel height but they DO NOT kill my feet. It blows everyone's mind away!
My Sembonia shoes. Glossy, black wedges. Second most comfortable pair of heeled shoes I own. I bought is pair the same day as the first pair featured.

I wanna punch Magen but it may not be his fault today. I'm just venting. For the past few days, I haven't got a side job to do. And it was not busy. Today, I was stationed in the dining area. I had 5 tables under me. So I was pretty busy. Then, at 9.30, he says: "serve this then go do side job". I was shocked. What the fuck man. I mean, I've been serving the tables for a long time. So the tips won't even reach me. This is really unfair. This other server Emman, he's an ass and a whole other story which I think is not even worth mentioning.

So Ruby was talking to me at the back station. The the 2 men from the table of 6 that I was serving happened to pass by. They were funny, they asked the GM why I was behind and all that. They were upset that I was not serving their table. It was so funny; you had to be there. I spoke to them a little before I left. They were just cracking jokes and all that and were surprised that I understood what they were saying. (They were English men if you get my drift)

At the end of the day, no tips and I closed only 2 checks. Isn't that great? What a fucked day.

There's a Dog in the sky!!!

When there is thunder, my dog starts growling and barking at the sky. If you think about it, thunder does sound like a dog barking. I honestly think that tequila thinks that there's a big dog in the sky barking at him. He's so cute.

This shit is f***ed up

Today is Monday... Just so everyone knows. At the restaurant "DanRyans", it doesn't get too busy. Hence, there really isn't much of a need for a server to be assigned to the lounge. But I was. Instructions to me were: Since it should not be so busy today, you should help out in the dining area.

My input: Since we won't be expecting many in the lounge either.

Well, there are 4 servers today. Magen (ascended to managerial position but still wearing the server uniform), Puspa, Fisal and me. A bartender who is Tini (She hasn't got anything to do with the story though)

The 3 guys were supposed to be in dining and me in lounge. But Fisal got booted to runner and I would just help. That left puspa to the whole back and Magen to the whole front! Well, I'm not blowing my own horn here, but I do try to help wherever I can there. So I help. I helped Puspa at the back station because it was pretty busy. Then Magen comes and tells me (and I was just pissed to say the least) to hang out at the bar and let him (Puspa) do.

So obediently, I go. However just as I got to the bar area, he stops me and tells me that table 26 (at Puspa's station) is calling. My response to that is "So?" but I am told to go over. I wanted to... punch him in his face!

So the story goes, it gets busier and busier, but the fucking manager doesn't reassign any of the station. Fisal is still running food and I'm still "helping" out. At least reassign when a group to 10 walk in. The restaurant is fucked up. And Magen was showing signs of stress because his front station was packed like 9 tables! I just did as I was told. Hang around the bar. I helped a little. Not too much. Didn't want to disobey my manager ;) Ran some food and stuff. We're supposed to run our own food anyway.

At the end of the day, he apologised, I couldn't be bothered. I just said ok and left. He's a bi...

Exams

Its always good or important to know the questions that are coming out for the exams. However, it is more important to know the answer to the questions.

Fight

There was a fight in Ang Mo Kio Central! All the way from around MacDonalds to under my block. It was very bad. A lot of blood and our whole block was cornered off by police tape! The lift landing at the first floor was covered in blood! The police officer told us not to step on the two pairs of slippers and the blood that covered the lift landing. I hope no one died. It was a lot of blood, I could say pools of it.

Did I really tie with my colleague?

I've heard I got a tie for first place at the restaurant for first place. I'm only gonna get $100. Last year, there was a tie as well. The votes were not counted in front of us. Hence, I'm not confident of the results. Although I am happy that I won as this year was my first Halloween dressing up. Not bad for a first timer. I don't trust the restaurant I work for.

Things happen...

I was extremely high on Wednesday night, recovering from a hang over the next day and had to baby sit my god sister's son, then while preparing dinner, cut my finger with the can lid because I was reading what was printed on the lid while opening it. It read "CAUTION: Sharp edges" or something like that...

Anyway, today is here. Its Halloween, I have my costume and I am ready to scare. I hope I win tonight's pool... I heard it's $150.

I went for mass today. Father Yim described the journey to God like "Snakes and Ladders" however not so much as a game. From looking at the metaphor, (I think it is) the snakes would be all the things you'd do wrong and all the temptations that take you further away. The ladder however, is God, reaching out to us, giving us means of climbing and getting close to him. I love the analogy!

And he goes on to tell you some ways of climbing. He said many things, I cannot remember all of them; but here are the things I do remember.

When you are kind and helpful to other people, some may think that you have an ulterior motive. But be kind anyway.

When you succeed, people may be jealous and do things to compromise you.
But succeed anyway.

Basically, when you think about it, you should always make sure that everything you do, you're doing good. Because no matter what, there will always be some people who will always be against you. At the end of the day and time, what we need to remember is that our lives belong to God and it will be between him and us anyway. Not between us and other people.

Halloween

Damn, for the first time in my life, I need to dress up for Halloween.. There's this competition. I wanna go as Medusa, Killer Clown or Pirate or She-Devil... With tail and all!!!

This is not good

I'm am so sorry to say this. All colleagues and ex-students who are reading this, I'm truly sorry. I am officially no longer impressed with CHIJ Students. I've never met a more disrespectful bunch and saw such a disgusting display of values (if any at all) in my life.

30th Anniversary

Today, we celebrated our parent's 30th Anniversary! I'm really so happy for them. Don't know how they do it. All those years! =S

For those who has seen my photo album at http://itsmyphotos.myphotoalbum.com, the reason why there are more photos of my sisters and myself is because my parents were late for their own anniversary dinner and we had nothing to do but take photos. I do have more of my parents but it's with my other sisters. So have to wait. But enjoy first!

Awesome day man!

For all of you who know which restaurant I work at and who I do not like there, this one's for you! (me mostly actually) hehe

She was fired!!! Don't wanna mention names here. Apparently, when her friends come over to the restaurant to makan, they makan and then she voids the food of the bill. So that means free food! No fair. I love the food. So this has happened many times already and she has gotten away with it. There was a time when she was in the bar with 2 others. She told them that they "better communicate or get out of (my) bar". This is only one occasion. She was also extremely rude to many staff who made complains against her to the managers. I was one of them.

I feel bad for her but I'm glad she's gone. She couldn't really handle anything properly anyway. Most of the staff are happy anyway...

Me oh my hair!!!

I wanna have her hair. Lindsay Price as Victory Ford has gorgeous hair on Lipstick Jungle! OMGosh! I can't wait. My next hair do will be like hers. She is just so beautiful! I believe, perhaps that her nose is the highlight of her face.

Oh and by the way, Robert Buckley as Kerby Atwood is sooooo hot! He's got my tongue wagging when it comes to him =)

SCHOOL!!!

Relief teaching...Isn't going to well..One girl went missing from school and my name came up as the one who signed off on the form. It was all a misunderstanding that ended up with me explaining what went down. The girls in class just happened to mention my name as the (only) teacher to know about the particular girl leaving school. I did not sign off on the release form but told her instead to look for her form teacher. As my lesson was over, I left the classroom thinking she was a responsible girl. (AssUMEing made an ass out of U and me [of course me mostly]). So other staff thought I did in fact sign off on it... but I explained the situation and now all that's left is the girl in question and the consequences. Other than that!!! Great!!!

The other thing. I'm considering taking a scholarship from SP where I would be bonded for 6 years after getting my degree. They would sponsor my degree as well as my lodging, food and I get paid as Technical Assistant wage if I take up the scholarship. However, I'm not sure if I want to sign 6 years to them as I also really want to work for Rolls-Royce. (Damn, why haven't they called me yet?) I'm dreaming everyday about them and waiting for the day the email will come, telling me that I have an appointment or interview. I don't think they will call yet anyway, so university, here I come...

Sighs

I sure do miss Alts... It figures that when you hove someone within reach, you don't seem to miss them too much. But once they go out of reach, that is when PROBLEMs start. I'll never replace her in my life..

2 Jobs, 3 Responsibilities

I'm going to burn out... I'm so tired from waking up at 6am every weekday and working till 10 or 11pm on the days I need to work at the restaurant. I don't know how some people can manage 2 jobs... It's so tiring and draining.

Also, I was almost the cause of an accident today. I couldn't carry out half clutch when moving off a slope. My "floored" the gas pedal but I didn't release the clutch enough for my car to move forward. Hence, I think my car rolled back. There was a van behind me horning and all that. So I quickly slammed on my brakes and applied the hand brake. Then I managed to move off without and further incident. I apologized to the driver but I think he was still angry. My instructor was franticly trying to step on his brake pedal but didn't get it in time... That was a funny sight from the side of my eyes!

NEW.

So there's my new covers. They are the coolest ever. One side is black and the other is white. Only fault about my new covers is that I got a black bed sheet... So I can see all of tequila's fur on it after he has slept in my bed... not to mention the dust as well...But now I know that I need to change my covers more often!

New hair! I need some time to get used to this style but I think I'll manage. It looks playful however I could have maybe done with a little longer fringe. IT'LL GROW! I know I know.. It just needs to grow faster... =)
