2 Jobs, 3 Responsibilities

I'm going to burn out... I'm so tired from waking up at 6am every weekday and working till 10 or 11pm on the days I need to work at the restaurant. I don't know how some people can manage 2 jobs... It's so tiring and draining.

Also, I was almost the cause of an accident today. I couldn't carry out half clutch when moving off a slope. My "floored" the gas pedal but I didn't release the clutch enough for my car to move forward. Hence, I think my car rolled back. There was a van behind me horning and all that. So I quickly slammed on my brakes and applied the hand brake. Then I managed to move off without and further incident. I apologized to the driver but I think he was still angry. My instructor was franticly trying to step on his brake pedal but didn't get it in time... That was a funny sight from the side of my eyes!

NEW.

So there's my new covers. They are the coolest ever. One side is black and the other is white. Only fault about my new covers is that I got a black bed sheet... So I can see all of tequila's fur on it after he has slept in my bed... not to mention the dust as well...But now I know that I need to change my covers more often!

New hair! I need some time to get used to this style but I think I'll manage. It looks playful however I could have maybe done with a little longer fringe. IT'LL GROW! I know I know.. It just needs to grow faster... =)

*SIGH*

Can someone tell me what's going on in our school today??? Our school... the secondary school I went to by the way. The students are missing the values and not living up to the school's name and reputation. Rather they tarnish it with their lousy attitude. Work is not up to standard and they use profanities in front of the teacher. I don't know how the teachers cope with that day in and day out.

Please don't get me wrong. There are also the girls who behave well and deserve credit. They get their work done, listen to the teachers and well, I'm sure they use profanities but not to that extent.

All it takes is one bad apple to spoil the whole bunch... Well the bunch is spoiling...

*&@^$$%*&@^#@!%#@^$#@&^!@(&

If you do not wish to hear me complain, do not read on...

**********IGNORE IF DON'T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT PROBLEMS*************
Problem 1: Servers did not check ticket and delivered a birthday cake to a table. No birthday song was sung and I got a scolding. Point is that servers should check ticket. Not my fault entirely. But cannot put all the blame on me. I accept that I should have gotten my own food but come on, even I run other people's birthday cakes.

Problem 2: The receptionist flushed her brain down the toilet. She totally slammed the front station. We were so damn busy and stressed out in the front. I thought that I would have collapsed. I was on the verge of hitting her; extremely hard. (I don't hit people. Maybe just tell her in a very angry tone to use her brain. If this were a free world I would be screaming. NOT TELLING OR HITTING!)

Problem 3: Front station as altogether 8 tables occupied. Usually 1 server will be in charge of 5 or 6 tables. Just 2 more you say?? It makes a whole lot of difference. I was put in charge of all 8 tables at 9pm. One 6pax, others 2 and 3pax. Still there were people coming in. and I was jam packed and busy all by myself. Hardly any help. Then, food had to be run, I ran, some not even for my station. I was so stressed. I ran my food and got it settled. I need to give checks to 2 tables. At the same time, my manager (@$&#*^%@*&#!^#) came out and chucked table #20's desserts into my hands and told me to serve. I was handing out bills. If I don't do it, someone has to. So, if some one does "A" another someone must do "B".Don't you agree? As long as "A" and "B" is done, what's is the big deal? She runs my customer's bill and informs him that the card has expired. I knew that long time ago already, but since I was busy doing "A", time was wasted on "B" because she had to find out by herself. (AM I MAKING SENSE HERE?) And I really forgot that we didn't have a specific dessert. Can you really fault me??? Honest mistake. Not purposely key in to make life difficult. Then I get a death stare. Arghhh...

So many things happened. Today's manager is and always will be a bitch. She can't manage properly. How she got that management position must have been some sort of favor she had to carry out. I really don't understand. She has no leadership qualities and she cannot handle stress. AT ALL. I'm so cheesed off. I think even the most senior server would have problems.

*****************END OF COMPLAINT**************************

Good night and sweet dreams to all who cared to read. Thank you for ^listening/reading. To all who didn't read, it's alright, I'll still listen to your problems if you need a ear. And please feel free to leave comments. I welcome them.

SPELL CHECK? BRAIN CHECK?

Recently, I went to the movie theater near my place. The AMK Hub. After ascending the escalator, there is a cardboard erecting of wall-e and his love interest. Obviously we don't SIT on the display. But just to be sure of this, they put a notice which reads:

"Please do not seat on this display"

I was so disappointed. In any case, if you find a problem with any of my spelling in my blog, feel free to notify me.

Driving

WAY COOL!!! I had my first driving lesson. It was great! My left foot had blood supply cut off from it because I had to keep it on the clutch pedal for and extended period of time. Once I got it off, it was screaming with thanks for it had blood once again. My left upper thigh area is also a little pain. Not too sure why. Maybe it was the driving.

My instructor said that I was a joy to teach and that I was BTD. Just guess what that means... That complement felt good. He was a funny man, mostly joking. I stalled a couple of times. One time because a driver in front of me stepped hard on the brakes. So I had to do the same. My left foot didn't move fast enough to the clutch pedal so my engine stalled. Other times were pretty much my fault and others was my instructor. Thanks to him, I stalled twice in a row because I didn't move back to 1st gear to restart. THIS WAS NOT MY FAULT. How was I to know anything about that. All in all he was a nice and easy going person. A little weird at time though. But alright.

Getting the biting point is pretty easy once you've gotten the hang of things. It was fun. Tomorrow (Friday) is my next lesson. CAN'T WAIT.
